ive finished my first Illustrated Doctors Diary ; )
The inspiration came from the couple of screen grabs from Impossible Astronaut and thru this ive created approx 50 pages of tales, adventures, drawings, pictures, charts, and illustrations based round the 11th incarnation ; )
like the original prop its done in similar style to the River Song Diary
please let me know what you think ; )
Looks lovely! Wish I had enough money to buy it too, but I'll have to be happy with my amazing River Song diary. =]

OMG, how do you make these things? Can you tell me please? I'm a huge fan of Doctor Who.
ReplyDeleteDamned fine piece of work. Many congratulations to you!
ReplyDeleteThis looks amazing! I don't suppose you make these for sale do you?
ReplyDeletemy artwork is for sale ;)email me at gary.d@qotd.co.uk
ReplyDeleteWhere do you sell to and how much are they? x
DeleteWOW! The kind of stuff I make isn't very good but I love re- enactting scenes from Doctor Who with them. I haven't actually made a 'Doctor's Diary' but I have made my own River Song's TARDIS Journal but as I don't know every detail of River's life I can't put EVERYTHING in so I only put the bits I know about in and when I find out about some other adventures I'll put them in. But on some pages I just put scribbles. On your finished River Song Diary is it all words or all scribbles or words and scribbles because you can't just make up stuff? Have you actually written it all in words?
ReplyDeleteHi there its not scribble its the actual adventures of River as diary entries, if you study episodes closely the mention many facts and lots of ref to adventures that we havnt seen such as Easter Island and the Singing Towers, youve just got to look for it x
DeleteWhere did you find the emblem/coin you put on the front of the diary? It's a perfect match! I want to make my own diary and I can't seem to find that emblem anywhere, though I've seen several diaries made with that exact same coin. Thanks so much!
